2013 Excellence in Teaching Awards (ETA) Program opens the week of October 15, 2012.
The Excellence in Teaching Awards is celebrating its 25th year of honouring excellence in Alberta classrooms. We are asking that you display the attached posters and brochure in prominent areas in your school so teachers, students and parents are aware that nominations for the 2013 awards begin the week of October 15, 2012 and end on February 8, 2013. We also encourage you to share this information with your Parent Advisory or School Councils.
Nomination Packages and printed copies of the posters and brochures will be sent to you mid-October. The documents will also be available to you online at: http://education.alberta.ca/teachers/excellence.aspx in mid-October. PDF nomination forms will be available, which can be electronically filled out as well (please note it will be necessary to print off the pdf forms for signature and submission).
We are also pleased to announce that the Excellence in Teaching Awards Program now has a dedicated e-mail address and can be reached directly at edc.excellenceinteaching@gov.ab.ca or 1-866-590-1660.
