Hello Friends of Belfast School,
Last year we started a very successful program called precision reading. It is an intentionally focussed reading program which is designed to help emerging readers find greater success with site words. The value of the program comes from the consistent nature of it. Last year we were able to use staff to provide this service to students. With the change in our funding formula this year we will require volunteers to help us continue this wonderful initiatives.
If you have 30 min. per day that you would be willing to volunteer to our precision reading program 5 young readers would benefit from your commitment. Please call me or Mrs. Stein for more information.
